Minted by the Austrian Mint in a gold content of 3.04 grams and a total weight of 3.38 grams. Mintage of these coins ran from its first strike in 1892 in celebration of the 82nd birthday of Emperor Franz Joseph to 1912. The obverse bears profile of Franz Joseph and the lettering: FRANC IOS I D G IMP AUSTR REX BOH GAL ILL ET AP REX HUNG The reverse of the Austrian 10 Coronas depicts the double-headed eagle from the Coat of Arms of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.A popular collectors choice.
