This one ounce Perth Mint Silver bar is supplied in a good pre-owned condition.  The front of the silver bar features the Perth Mint swan logo with the fineness and weight at the bottom of the bar.  The reverse of this bar is decorated with kangaroos in a diagonal pattern.  Each bar is one troy ounce in weight and is produced of 9999 silver.  Although these bars are in good pre-owned condition they may show signs of storage wear and handling.

The Perth Mint opened in 1899 in response to the discovery of rich gold deposits in Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie. The heritage building was situated in the heart of Perth, the capital and largest city of Western Australia. It was Australia's third branch of Britain's Royal Mint - the others being the Sydney Mint and the Melbourne Mint (both closed). In 1970, the authority for The Perth Mint was transferred to the State of Western Australia.
