The 2019 Grizzly is the last in the 1oz four coin .9999% pure silver bullion “Predator” series celebrating some of Canada’s most impressive animals of prey. The first coin in this series was the 2016 Cougar, the second was the 2017 Lynx and the third was the 2018 Wolf. The obverse of the Grizzly coin displays the iconic effigy of HRM Queen Elizabeth II designed by Susanna Blunt.  The inscription reads "5 DOLLARS", "ELIZABETH II" AND "D G REGINA", "2019". This coins reverse features a pouncing grizzly.  Contrasted against a background of precise radial lines, this vivid illustration of a grizzly bearing it's teeth, leaping towars it's prey is the work of acclaimed Canadian coin designer and nature illustrator Emily Damstra. Coins from this silver bullion series will be produced to a maximum mintage of one million.
