The series is made up of two coins; The Roaring Lion and The Tree of Life. Each coin is released annually with a different 'truth' each year, with the first part carried by The Roaring Lion, and the second by The Tree of Life. Each of these silver coins contains 1 troy ounce of .9999 pure silver and is considered legal tender by the government of Niue with face values of $2 (NZD).

The Roaring Lion Coin Design

The 1oz Silver Coin design has a textured image of a crown wearing lion, featuring a bushy mane. The coin's weight and purity are also beneath. The obverse displays an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with "ELIZABETH II     NIUE     TWO DOLLARS     2021" around the rim of the coin.
