Valcambi 250g Gold Bar

These 250 gram gold bars contain 999.9 of fine gold.  Each bar in inscribed with a unique serial number and is presented in assay packaging (hard acrylic plastic tamper evident seal). The obverse of this bar features the Valcambi Suisse logo with the bar's purity, weight and unique serial number whilst the reverse displays an inscription of the company name "Valcambi Suisse". Valcambi Suisse also produce gold combibars in 100g Combibar, 50g Combibar, 1oz Combibar and 20g Combibar.

Valcambi Background

First established in 1961 as Valori & Cambi by a group of Swiss businessmen.  In 1967 Credit Suisse bought 50% of the refinery and the name was changed to Valcambi.  By 1980 Credit Suisse owned 100% of the refinery.  European Gold Refineries SA purchased the total refinery in 2003.
