Glacier National Park, Montana, 2011 (Uncirculated)

This coins was released on the 4th of April, 2011. There was a bullion mintage of 126,700 and an uncirculated mintage of 20,856. This site is notable due to the size and eco-diversity of the area. It is the center piece of the area dubbed as "The Crown of the Continent Ecosystem". Within the million+ acre park, there are more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals. The reverse of the coin depicts a mountain goat stood on a rocky slope with a classic view of the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds in the background. Around the edge of the coin reads "GLACIER" on the top, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to the bottom right and "MONTANA" to the bottom left. "2011" is at the bottom. The obverse of the coin has a left facing effigy of George Washington, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is along the top and "QUARTER DOLLAR" (the face value) is along the bottom. To the left of the head is the word "LIBERTY" and on the right is "IN GOD WE TRUST" with the "P" mint mark below that, representing the Philadelphia mint. The edge of the coin is not reeded and instead reads ".999 FINE SILVER 5.0 OUNCE".

This coin was released on the 29th of August 2011. There was a bullion mintage of 58,100 and an uncirculated mintage of 18,594. This site was notable because of the American Civil War. A 47-day siege that resulted in The Union gaining control of Vicksburg which granted them control over the Mississippi River. The reverse of the coin depicts an iron clad steamboat, named the USS Cairo. Around the edge of the coin reads "VICKSBURG" on the top, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to the bottom right and "MISSISSIPPI" to the bottom left. "2011" is at the bottom. The obverse of the coin has a left facing effigy of George Washington, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is along the top and "QUARTER DOLLAR" (the face value) is along the bottom.
